Ep 7 - Jeff Purdy - Social Dissonance from the Wild Boar

Austin (back from a SkatePro BCN Trip) and Justin sit down with Jeff Purdy, Philly rider originally from Long Island, NY. Jeff currently rides for GT Bikes, Daily Grind, DNS, and Stinkpit, and he absolutely kills it. If you're not familiar with his riding, its about damn time. Street, trails, park, Jeff can legitimately ride everything. 

We talk a little bit about his web videos starting way back in 2009 with "Jeff Purdy Wild Boar" up to his most recent 2020 self-filmed pandemic project for Daily Grind called "Social Dissonance." Ep 6 - Anthony Cuadros ft. Lewis C - A Helmet Could Save Your Life, Breaking Every Bike Part, Greenlawn Skatepark Repair Plans?

Austin's in Barcelona on a trip for his sponsor SkatePro, so Lewis Colascione stepped in as guest-host to hang with our buddy Anthony Cuadros. We started riding with Anthony when he was 13 and could barely air a quarter, and now he can do every trick and probably beat us at a game of BIKE with ease. He talks about his worst crash during peak pandemic hysteria, breaking every bike part (most recently forks), upcoming trip for Work BMX (hand built frames from Ithaca, NY) and some potential plans for repairing Greenlawn skatepark.

Austin and Justin sit down with our pal Craig Passero and piece together how we met around the time of the OG Whammo Video, what makes that project so special (in our opinion), and Craig's early days filming in Boston with Chris Zep. We also cover Justin's drive home with no pants, sweating through multiple tee shirts, talking too much while filming clips, and our mixed feelings towards the 'gram.
