Ep 17 - Nothing Rhymes with Kendama

Austin's back, but he's ditching me again next week for a trip to Paris with the FTL/Sweets Kendama boys. Understandable. We catch up on recent filming sessions, deconstructing the kendama, and a healthy dose of camera nerdery related to the new USL House Park Super Cup videos that we're recently released. Ep 16 - Aangles DVD Review (goin' solo) - A Video By Scott Marceau

Sharing some thoughts and first impressions on Scott Marceau's recently released full length video "Aangles." Austin was not able to record this week and has not seen the video yet, so I had to go solo for this one. If you are man enough to listen to me talk to myself for an hour, you will hear about my favorite sections/tricks from the video (without giving too much away), and a bit about the soundtrack you can expect. Ep 15 - Joel Fortin - Don of the Canadian Streets

Joel Fortin is a damn good bike rider, legit filmer, and possibly the nicest person I know. He also happens to be from Canada. Is the stereotype true? I'm not sure, but we love Joel. After meeting Joel at Camp Woodward like 10 years ago, we have stayed buddies ever since. We talk about Joel's current video projects with Mike Gray for Vans, Chijioke Okafo (one of the most underrrated riders IMO), and his upcoming web video for Merritt (coming soon, in full HD baby). Somehow I hold off on bashing the VX, but we do nerd out on camera gear for a minute or two. Also if you were wondering who that crazy guy reading a book at the Don of the Streets Jam was, yeah that was me (Justin). Thanks for coming on Joel!!!

Austin and Justin discuss a recently released DVD by Buffalo-based rider Dylan Yuan and crew. Video features like 25 minutes of damn good biking by Dylan himself, Sam Tedesco, Alex Pierce, Dylan Larsen, Elf, Paul Smith, Charlie Crumlish Cody Pollock, KC Iwaniak, and more. Filmed on home turf as well as NYC, NYS, Canada, (Denver?) and other places probably. Another Austin-less week due to important bird feeding business in Berlin, so Lewis Colascione came through as co-host to catch up with everybody's guy Eddie Cuellar. We get into the struggles of filming his recent video part for Cult (linked below), upcoming video projects (Cult AM Woodward East Trip and More), the street 7 that got away, and running only front brakes for some reason. We also learn how Eddie and Lewis met at Swampfest and ended up filming clips for the "SUMN LITE" video during The Great Migration from Estonia to BCN after Simple Session. Ep 10 - Danny Nghieu - Flatland in Philly After Work (While Driving)

Austin's away for two weeks on a trip to Germany, but the show must go on. Today we have my good friend Danny Nghieu on the podcast. Danny is a bmx rider from Philadelphia, PA primarily into flatland/freestyle. He has more passion for riding than most people I know, and still manages to ride multiple times a week while being an engineer, guitar player, married-guy, and new homeowner. Our original plan to record in person was delayed so we decided to record this while Danny was driving from Philly to NY (for the second time in 36 hours). Ep 9 - Denny Pascasio - Footjam Whips at Haven Skatepark in Girl Pants and Confidence Goggles

Austin and Justin sit down with our friend Denny Pascasio, TJD founding member, expert Gutter Doodle'r, Shred Biscuit master of shred, with filmer grunts and fart noises on deck. We get into some early TJD memories, basking in the two-wheeled glory of Haven Skatepark, the birth of Confidence Goggles, how Denny got on The Take through John Lee, and his recent move and current residence in Palm Springs, CA. We even get the chance to Lewis our friend Anthony Cuadros, who makes a brief visit with the highest fidelity in-car audio. Denny is fucking hilarious, one of the best humans I've had the privilege to encounter. We had a blast recording this one, Denny will be back soon!
